Nice doing business with you

13 07 2007

I read about someone’s wedding earlier. It was so romantic, the person who wrote it cried.

I’ve never been to a romantic wedding, geez I don’t even know what romance really is. So I continued reading.

“The newly wedded couple walked into the hall, with background music, From The Moment On, by Shania Twain.”

Seriously?

If that could almost make me puke, I wonder, what won’t?  I tabbed my browser, typed ‘best wedding song’ in Google search bar and tada, I bloody found this. Now, if it was my wedding, what song would make me not hate the ceremony? Scrolling down,I saw a retro for those my age, when R&B ballads were hip you know.

Eric Benet feat Tamia – Spend My Life With You

When I was younger, I kinda like the song. Well, not the song in particular, maybe it was my college boyfriend, maybe everything was nice and sweet back then, or maybe it was Eric Benet himself. I fancied him, we fancied him. Halle Berry is (was) a lucky girl. Got herself a fine sex-maniac husband, grabbed an Oscar – looking like the island of Zanzibar in an Elie Saab’s dress, and the girl’s been in movies with Hugh Jackman for God’s sake.

Okay, Catwoman was unfortunate.

Back to Eric Benet and the song, and the video I found at Youtube, can I just say this: Eric, I love you. But hell, I would trade you for a little piece of sizzling Gabriel Aubry too! Yes I would!
